Todd Kelman
Coors Belfast Giants General Manager

After 7 seasons as a player Todd was appointed General Manager of the Belfast Giants. The management felt that Todd would be the ideal candidate for the vacant position created by the departure of John Elliott. Todd took over the reigns mid way through the 06/07 season. A season which culminated in a testimonial game in recognition of his service to the Belfast Giants.

This season Todd is hanging up his skates to dedicate time solely to his new role. He aims to provide the elements required to make the team a success on and off the ice as well as developing the commercial appeal of the Giants through merchandising and the team website.

Ed Courtenay
Coors Belfast Giants Head Coach

This is Ed's thrid year as coach of the Belfast Giants and so far has proven to be a great choice by former general manger John Elliott. As a player and rookie coach in his first year, Ed led the Giants to their first Elite league trophy, and just narrowly missed out on the play-offs, losing to the Newcastle Vipers in the semi-finals. This was followed by another succcessful season behind the bench which seen Ed taking to the ice at the end of the regular season and playoff campaign due to unforseen injuries to players. This combination of playing and coaching success influenced new general manager Todd Kelmans decision when Ed was invited to coach the team for the 07/08 season.

Jason Ellery
Coors Belfast Giants Equipment Manager

Jason 'Taff' Ellery is now in his 5th season with the Belfast Giants. As a full time equipment manager Taff applied his trade in the UK with the Longon Knights and also the Cardiff Devils in his native Wales. Often the first man to arrive at the rink and the last to leave.

Taff plays a key role in the teams preperation for games and training sessions, ensuring each player has the equipment they need to compete and carrying out any repairs and maintenance such as sewing jerseys, laundry and sharpening skates.

Richard Gowdy
Accountant

Richard is heavily involved in administration and finances,and plays an integral role in the day to day running of the Belfast Giants. Chances are if you are contacting the Giants it will be Richard that will answer the phone or respond to your email, whilst he is manning the office or dealing with the game night merchandising and customer service.
